Hope has a well-arranged page with a large collection of
color codes. There is a name and a hexadecimal code besides each
color. The colors are for Internet Explorer and Netscape. I have
tried and discovered that they also worked for Mozilla Firefox.
VisiBone
has a chart of 216 web-safe colors with hexadecimal codes put
together on a screen. A hexadecimal code is written on each of the
color squares. You may also order hard copies of the color code
charts from VisiBone.
Quackit
has a free online color picker similar to one you may see on a paint
software that allows you to randomly choose a color and immediately
gets its hexadecimal code to be used in your html code. It also has
a chart containing the 216 web-safe colors with each having a
shortened hexidecimal code that you can copy and use in your html
code.
Fonts
W3school.com has a free guide on displaying text in different fonts. According to
the website, the font tag should not be used as it has been
deprecated which means it will be officially removed in future
versions of HTML. Instead, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) should be
used to display a text in a particular font.
Quackit
has a free tutorial on how to
display text in different fonts using the traditional HTML method
and Cascading Style Sheets. This tutorial is good for anyone who is
working with fonts for web pages for the first time.

is another site that has a large collection of GIF animations that
you can find under several categories including people, computer,
counters, business, plants, religion, science, funny, flags, and
furniture.

is an online tool that allows you create your own GIF animation by
converting your own images or images from the internet into
animated images.
